Privacy Policy

What data Renewio handles

Renewio stores only the information you enter yourself: names of subscriptions, warranties and deadlines, amounts, dates, notes, serial numbers, receipt photos, and attached documents. Renewio has no user accounts and the developer operates no server that receives your data.

Where your data lives

All data is stored locally on your device. If iCloud is enabled, it is synced through your personal iCloud private database under your Apple ID. The developer cannot access, read, or recover any of it.

Receipt scanning

Text recognition and AI extraction of receipts run entirely on your device using Apple's frameworks. Receipt photos are never uploaded anywhere.

Notifications

Renewal reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push-notification server is involved.

Purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. The developer never sees your payment details.

Permissions Renewio asks for

• Notifications — to remind you before items renew or expire.
• Camera — to scan receipts (only while you use the feature).
• Photo library — to pick an existing receipt photo.

Deleting your data

Delete any item inside the app at any time. To remove everything, delete the app and remove Renewio's iCloud data in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.

Children

Renewio is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
